Hey.
I wanted to let you know that I’m taking a break from writing my newsletter. Probably about 6 weeks or so. Then I’ll be back to it.
Why the break?
To be honest, I’m a little tired. I have a toddler who wakes up at 3am and runs around the house completely naked. And I have a newborn too.
Not much sleep for mom and dad.
I’ve always been a family man first, business owner second. And my family needs me right now.
My younger son - my newborn - was born with club feet. Basically that means his feet turn inward at a really weird angle. Unless we get it fixed, he won’t be able to walk when he gets older.
We’re still meeting with doctors to figure out what to do. There’s a decent chance he needs surgery. There’s also a decent chance he’ll have to wear a brace for the first two years of his life.
Despite the unexpected challenges of life, I feel really grateful. I’m grateful to live in a place like America. A place where we have access to good healthcare. A place where a life-altering condition becomes treatable.
While I’m gonna miss writing these newsletters for a little while, I’m also looking forward to the break.
It’s a chance to reset, and do what matters most.
